Contribute
Social Policy Worldwide welcomes contributions from researchers, practitioners, journalists, and experts on social policy, inequalities, and social cohesion.
Did you just publish a report with new data?
Has a journal article just come out with a compelling argument?
Do you have insights on a current social issue?
Write an article with us about it!
We look for original, engaging short essays that showcase new research or findings, reflect on contemporary debates, and introduce critical analyses of pressing social issues. We welcome articles that focus on one country or area, or that draw comparisons across countries and regions.
If you’re interested in contributing, please send us a message at

Format
Please draft your article in one Word or .odt file without formatting, and include a title of max. 10 words, and an abstract of max. 30 words.
The complete article should aim for 1.200 words and can include one copyright-free graphic or picture.
Footnotes are not used in the blog. References can be cited in-text or through parenthetical citations and should include the hyperlinked source when possible. Download the full guidelines here.
Publishing Process
All contributions are screened for pertinence, style, and structure. They might be subject to copyediting for style, format, and standardized language if needed, without altering the argumentative structure of the text. Blog articles might also be submitted for external review.
We aim for a turnaround of ten days and, if needed, expect revisions from authors also within an additional ten days.
